A fine Oil on Canvas entitled “Squally Weather, Gorleston Harbour” By Gustave de Breanski (1856-1898).
Signed and fully inscribed verso.
Breanski worked predominantly between the years 1870-1890. He and his elder brother Alfred were both landscape artists, but Gustave was better known for his marine seascapes and inshore scenes. He exhibited 7 works at the Royal Academy between 1878-1887 and supported the Suffolk Street Galleries by exhibiting some 51 canvases there throughtout his career.
