Honey-Oak Table Clock with fusee movement and passing strike

An attractive and small sized honey-oak (light coloured) table clock by Fairer of Bishopsgate Without, London.

The 8-day movement is fusee driven and strikes on a bell, once, each time it passes the hour (called a ‘passing strike’) powered by the same single fusee. The silvered dial is beautifully engraved with leaves and flowers, and embossed with the makers name “FAIRER” and has its original black painted hands. Serial number ‘990’ (engraved on dial).

In full working order and guaranteed for 12 months. Comes complete with both case and movement keys.
