279/12: HORNBY of LIVERPOOL: a very good quality early 19th century Regency or William IV period mahogany Drop-Dial Wall Clock in particularly good condition and of lovely warm colour and patina. The case is spectacular, with carved "ears" either side of the flame mahogany veneered trunk with its 'cushion' base, whilst the mouldings around the dial are very fine. The eight-day movement is fusee driven, and in perfect working order, with enamel painted dial and original blued steel hands. c.1830
188/11: A delightful and pretty mid-19th century solid mahogany set of Hanging Wall Shelves with fretwork carved pediment and three graduated shelves between good fretwork-carved sides. Excellent colour and completely original. Dimensions: 23ins wide; 32.5ins high and 1.76ins deep (all measurements maximum). c.1845
