331/12: A good quality early 19th century George IV or Regency period solid mahogany Centre or Hall Table in very good condition. The 4ft diameter top is supported on the substantial turned central column which leads to quadruple "hipped" sabre legs which in turn lead to the original brass sabot castors. 306/12: GILLOWS of LANCASTER: an excellent quality late Regency/William IV period mahogany Centre or Hall Table by this famous firm of English cabinetmakers. The figured "book-matched" mahogany top is supported, via the tilting mechanism, on a superb turned and fluted solid mahogany pillar which leads to the triform base and melon-carved feet. In typical Gillows style, both the frieze to the top and the base feature pretty beaded decoration all around. 4ft diameter. c.1835
